Concept Stage: What To Expect
- Choose and meet your designer.
- An initial conversation to discuss your needs and goals and values with your designer to discuss the functional needs and aesthetic preferences of your dream home (i.e., privacy, security, frequent entertaining, sustainability, more light in the kitchen, etc.).
- Review of budget and pre-qualifications for financing.
- The initial creation and presentation of designs to review concepts and requests (with unlimited adjustments and revisions) and assess client goals and expectations.
Preliminary Plan & Evaluations Stage: What To Expect
- In the preliminary plan stage, the preliminary hand-drawn design sketches are presented to the client for review and approval and to evaluate client goals and expectations and review realistic preliminary budget constraints and requirements.
- Approved designs are moved into the CAD design phase to further review, adjust, and designs for production implementation (such as in-depth evaluations of blueprint, site elevations, roof and floor framing plans).
- Review and agreement on flat fee.
Engineering & Plot Plan Stage: What To Expect
- HomeStyling provides assistance in the hiring of a UBuildIt engineer.
- The creation and review of a plot plan for permitting and code requirements.
- Construction begins.
