HomeStyling Design is proud to debut one of our latest projects tomorrow, Saturday, November 14th. If you’ve ever wondered what a home redesign by HomeStyling Designs might look like, we’re happy to invite you to Jeff and Suzanne’s completely remodeled Green Lake home!
The construction was carried out by our sister company UBuildIt, which saved the property owners thousands in builder mark-ups. Together, we completely gutted, expanded, and refinished this Craftsman home—come take a look, enjoy some refreshments, and see the HomeStyling difference from 4pm to 7pm! You can see from the pictures that we were careful in our design process to maintain the feel of this classic Seattle Craftsman. We worked with Jeff and Suzanne to refinish the exterior in a way that enhances the home’s character rather than changes it. We re-sided and re-roofed the structure and landscaped the property to be more level, accessible and beautiful.
And the outside is only the tip of the iceberg! The interior of the home was also entirely redone. Starting with a completely refinished basement, we also completely redid the main floor and the upstairs. The new expanded kitchen is gorgeous and easier to use, but the best part is the glass French doors that open onto a brand new covered back porch to allow for inside-outside living and easy meals on the deck, where Jeff and Suzanne can enjoy the outdoors rain, shine, or even snow!
The second floor has new clean lines and a brand new master suite with a walk-in shower. Our goal in redesigning the interior of this house was to turn the many small rooms into a more open, contemporary living space while also expanding the square footage. Not only did this massive remodel make this Green Lake home better to live in, but it also dramatically increased the property value. Adding and updating space and remodeling kitchens and bathrooms have the biggest recoup in sale value, and we did it all!
